1. What is OOP?

OOP stands for Object-Oriented Programming.

It is a way of designing and writing programs by organizing the program around objects.

Remember what we just learned:

In OOP, instead of thinking only about functions and data separately, we try to keep data and the operations that work on that data together inside objects.

For example, imagine a banking application.

You might have a BankAccount class containing information such as:

And it can have operations such as:

So instead of having random variables and functions spread throughout the program, we organize them around a meaningful entity: BankAccount.


2. Why OOP?
